The only known examples of Lee & Co photos date to 1906, as in the two below and the two included in the Picture Victoria catalogue. However, Electoral Rolls show Robert Lee as a photographer for a few years before and after 1906. By the 1912 Electoral Roll Robert and Madeline Lee are living at 23 Munro St, Ascot Vale, Robert's occupation 'Builder', and his occupation remained 'Builder' for the next couple of decades as they move around Moonee Ponds and Newmarket. By 1931 Madeline has moved to Richmond, and Robert is not listed there.
While at the Rankins Rd, Flemington address, Madeline's occupation was given as "produce dealer". From the time they moved to Ascot Vale Madeline was listed with "home duties" as her occupation.
